The scissors are secured against accidental or unintentional activation
To turn on the unit press the battery charge button. The scissors then should be "unlocked" by pressing the trigger twice.
When the jaws open, the scissors will make a warning sound. When the trigger is pressed for a longer time, the jaws will close and the scissors will turn off. After pressing the trigger twice, cutting can continue again. To permanently turn off the power, after holding the trigger that closes the jaws, press the battery charge button. The battery charge indicators will shut off. The scissors have been shut down
